Participants from outside Turkey are subject to tax only on the buyer’s premium, in accordance with Turkish tax laws. For example, if a participant wins an item at $100 with a buyer’s premium of 15% ($15), s/he would pay a 20% tax only on the $15 buyer’s premium, resulting in an additional $3 in tax.
